Adapter sleeves are the most normally used elements for finding bearings with a tapered bore onto a cylindrical seat as they can be used on easy shafts or stepped shafts. They are slit and are furnished complete with a KM lock nut and a MB lock washer.

The adapter sleeve is composed of a bushing, locking nut, locking washer (or locking clamp) and excellent parts.
Sleeves with locking nuts and locking washers are interchangeable absolutely in the full set.

It is used to mount and tightly close rolling thing bearings with tapered bores onto cylindrical shaft seats. The adapter sleeve allows the mounting or dismounting of rolling factor bearings in an easy and superb way.
